Hi after the first fly of my pitts special with one of the cheap £20
brushless sets from al's models ,its to underpowered I have tried the
recommended 10X4.7 and 9X4.7 and a 9X3.8 apc slow fly props, with the
current setup its just over 400 grams with an 1800mah LiPo 11.1v pack
it fly's just like a trainer not like a pitts do I need to get motor calc or
similar to work out a better setup or could somebody recommend a similar
motor set up that will pull this plane vertical for not much extra weight

Not nearly enough information.

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=13 and ask again after
registering.

And little details like wingspan, area, and battery back would be useful.

as its supposedly a 3d model and supposed to hover 1/2 throttleI thought
weight was the limiting factor rather than all the dimensions or am I
barking up the wrong tree?
but from the box its a pitts special bi-plane with wingspan: 710 mmLength:
660 mmWing area: 24,8 dm² Airframe weight: 300 g Surface loading: 12 g/dm²
and as soon as I remember my password I will post in rc groups
