Well, first of all the model is a Fascination 50. A super model not unlike a
Venus 40 but the help on fitting the engine is almost zilch.
The engine is shown fitted at about 60 degrees, that is to say the exhaust
goes out under the fuselage; a really good idea aerodynamically and also
keeps the plane clear. There are markings on the front bulkhead but the
markings are for an inverted engine plus there looks like two in one
plane(no pun intended).
What is the best way to fit an engine to get the shaft exiting in the
correct location and having it mounted at the angle necessary for the
exhaust to be at the bottom?
Look forward to any help any one can give and may I offer my thanks in
advance to anyone who has done this geometric exercise before and can
describe how to.

Why not attach the engine to the mount and offer it up to the bulkhead so
that the exhaust is where you want it and then mark the holes for the
screws/bolts to attach mount to firewall?
