...and it ends with a crash :( The plane (Hacker Zoom Zoom 4d) normally has
a flying weight of 12 oz. With the camera, transmitter & nicad to power the
rig, it was 20 oz making it drop like a brick off the throttle. Also my
CofG was a tad too far forwward. I can normally land this at walking pace
(or less if I catch it in the hover). Damage was only to the landing gear,
prop & the camera lens which got quite badly scratched (it's glass).
Anyway, enjoy...

Well, that's OK then. After all it could have been much worse. You might
have hit one of the many cars you passed over. Or one of the people.
Or it might have ended up in someone's front room having come through
their front window. I can't believe anyone'd be stupid enough to
fly a pound and a quarter of plane in an area like that.
What a complete and utter frigging moron.

If you think that's bad, you probably wouldn't like to see my 3d heli
video....

Probably not then. Can only hope that the insurance premium to risk
assessors and the arseholes against everything brigade don't get a whiff of
it for their powder lockers either.

And I'm a f.ck sight more likely to keep one if I'm not around the likes

No need to swear, gentlemen. Some of us are getting a little too hot
under the collar maybe, even if swearing is a perfectly justified
reaction to such stupidity. Just remember, it was worse than that in
the blitz ;-)
It's a 100% bonkers video, but I spose he didn't kill anyone (although
not for lack of trying ). But the best part was the crash. It's
worth watching just for that alone. Awesome.
Maybe we have the beginnings of a new sport here. Urban R/C Flying.
I'm off to the nearest city centre with my Arising Star trainer
tomorrow ;-))

Higher and smoother is better.
My main concern is the close proximity to the houses? dont think the AMA
insurance or the BMFA would appreciate it. Certainly of flying that close
you should have been 110% certain of your flying.
Because of the latter concerns I am NOT impressed.

Why would that matter to me - I don't have either!

Goedendag ;-)
You are a moron. Too bad you did not crash into a car, that would have
tought you. But then again, judging by your previous posts in this
discussion, you'd probably run off without leaving a note. Totally
irresponsible, next time, aim for your head please, before you injure a
person. Or for your balls, it would make me very happy to know that your
stupidness will not reproduce.

Yes, very different world with lots of free space to fly
far away from crowded areas. So why fly in everybodies backyard???

Why not? You should try it - it's fun and it gets the pulse rate up a wee
bit (and the neighbours!)
:-)

Without doubt the most stupid and irresponsible flying I have ever seen. You
are so smug about it you invite others to witness it - you don't even know
what you're doing wrong.
Morons like you do an absolute disservice to model flying everywhere. No
matter how much you rant and rave at people pointing out what a moron you
are - you are still that moron

I don't think you really get it, mate. Flying in a housing estate
means that you stand the chance of hitting something when you crash.
And one day you will crash. For sure. Definitely. And that
*something* you hit could be someone's car, a shed, or a child in a
pram. Sod's law dictates that when you do this, it will inevitably be
the child in the pram, not the shed or the car. I guarantee this to
be true.
So if you still don't get what I'm talking about, and you want a
realistic idea of the damage you *could* do, try twatting your plane
into your own face at thirty miles an hour. Post the results here.
Then we will take you seriously =)

From CAP658
1.1 Article 74
"A person shall not recklessly or negligently cause or permit an aircraft to
endanger any person or property."
All model flying activity is controlled by this article of the ANO and it is
important that
the operator of any model aircraft should bear this in mind at all times.
I enjoy flying model aircraft. People like you endanger both innocent
bystanders and the future of our sport. Despite some misguided (or
mischievous) support from one or two people on this group I sincerely hope
you either grow up or get bored with model flying. Mind you, judging by
your stupid antics with a helicopter on one of your other videos you may not
be around much longer to act like an idiot.
I await some puerile response...
