I currently own a simple 3 cell LiPo charger a simple Ripmax Xing NiCd
charger and a Ripmax Mercury Ex and I am now getting to the stage of
wanting another LiPo/NiCd NiMh charger, I love the Mercury Ex but are
better alternatives available, I don't tend to use the cheap chargers I
have as I don't get the satisfaction of actually knowing what the
charger is doing in terms of current, capacity ETC So I was thinking of
sticking them on Ebay and buying a charger with a LCD display
the sort of batteries I normally charge are 600ma to 2400Mah Nicads/NiMh
3 cell Lipos 600Mah up to 2100mah I have a external balancer for LiPo's.
I quite like the look of a Prodigy as I seems to be similar to the EX
but up to 5 cell LiPo's which is a bit more than the EX
Jamara X-Peak 3 Plus Charger £45(similar to a Prodigy 2)
Ripmax Pro Peak Constellation Charger £77
Ripmax Prodigy 2 £50
Ripmax Mercury EX £84
Hyperion EOS 5 DP Charger £55 (up to 5 cell LiPo)
Charger - Hyperion EOS 5i DP AC/DC Charger £70
or what would you suggest, mains or 12v powered would be nice but not
essential

There is many a man walking the streets of london without his shirt
because he failed to draw trumps.
There is many a man who ruined his LIPO pack because he forgot to set
the switch on his dual purpose charger to LIPO.
Don't piss around. Buy a really good dedicated charger for LIPO ONLY,
and sell your nickel packs to make up the difference.
I personally LURVE my Astro 109. And a big fat ex CB 13.8v bench power
supply I got off ebay to drive it..
I still use a nickel pack ..for a portable radio. So I kept te old
nickel charger too.
