Ideas wanted for power

Just ready to install an engine in a Minicraft Javelin 90.
A review model in a magazine used an ASP120 - in my view heavy. I wonderd
what any one thought of an ASP91 or SC91 which is a good deal lighter and
not that much less in power.
Alternatives are a Saito FA91S and a Saito FA-100 and in the OS range a OS
FS91 Surpass and the OS FS91P (pumped). I considered the one with the
electronic injection but couldnt, for the life of me, work out where the
unit would have to be situated on the plane as I guess it need access. Not
sure though and if it is worth the money either!
Obviously all my choices are four strokes but the Saito seems lighter (which
is what I want with this model) but has more vibration (from reading
reviews) and needs more running in than the O.S. On the other hand O.S.
engines are heavier and less powerfull but will nearly run straight out the
box with little running in time required.
Can anyone help with this dilema.
Oh yes. the purpose of the model is to practice the F3a sportsman and
standard schedules, a consideration not to be missed.

I have a laser 150 in mine with plenty of power and a good vertical
performance.. A bit heavy needing twin elevator servos and rudder
servo in the tail to balance. Also needed the Rx battery behind the
wing. Still flies well although there is a large height difference
between the tank and the carb which causes problems in bunts. I might
fit a small header tank to cure this. Check the wing skinning is
secure, I had the skin come off of the top of the left wing in flight,
As its a foam wing I was able to bring it in to land without a
problem,

Wing skinning sounds something to be concerned about. I read a magazine
review which also had a plane with that problem.
I was shying away from over 91's to avoid weigh penalties, Looking at the OS
engines 91's. The one with the inflite mixture control looks good although
it only kicks out the same bhs  as the standard os91 but it is said to be
more fuel efficient but I guess the ordinary pumped version would be too. I
like the idea of the pump as ther is space to put the fuel tank much nearer
to the CG.
saying all that I am very much ocnsidering the Saito 100 which is both light
and powerful. with engine size we have to take into account the power to
weight ratio too so its no good putting in asn asp120 because it has to
carry another pound of weight so gone is the extra power benefits - imho.
How did you check for wing skinning being poor and did you "beef up" the
undercarriage or has that been ok. some one else said they beefed that up.
