John Stevenson - 15 Jun 2004 20:55 GMT Well I have passed 30 odd people from this group and uk.radio thru to Pete Jackson, the writer of newsblock. So far I have had NO posts show up with any reference to idiot features.
This is original posts and replys to his posts so the program is working as it should. I have found no other bugs with the program, all the other posts and replies are coming thru fine.
This is an absolutely brilliant program and I'm amazed that no one has thought of this before. Quite a few of the 30 odd have emailed to say they are having no problems either and can't believe how easy it is to get rid of the twat. -- Regards,
John Stevenson Nottingham, England.

Airy R. Bean - 16 Jun 2004 08:44 GMT Why does Mr.Stevenson rejoice that he can no longer read his own posts?
Surely a simpler solution would be for him to cease from publishing his rather silly and infantile outbursts of insults and threatened violence to this NG?
This is a NG for model engineering and Stevenson, Heapy, Howeird, Blackmore and Jeffrey would do well to remember that.
Their habitual infantile outbursts are a shameful and false representation of the civilised gentlemen who, in my experience, are the bulk of model engineers in the UK.
Shame on them all!

Airy R. Bean - 18 Jun 2004 17:56 GMT I think that anybody who speaks out against the foul-mouthed and infantile tirades such as you have been guilty of in the past week has no reason to think that he's "history".
It would seem to me that you are now rightly ashamed of your outbursts and are running away from those who justifiably criticise you for them.
Just how infants behave!

Airy R. Bean - 18 Jun 2004 17:52 GMT I quite agree. The abusive, infantile and foul-mouthed playgroup seem to have vanished along with their gang-leader, John Stevenson, and this group can now revert to items of interest to model engineers, perhaps the difficulties inherent in trying to drive stepper motors direct from PC's, without the Nottingham Ignoramus interjecting his infantile tirades?

But of course you will miss the fun of seeing the increasingly desperate, off-topic, abusive attempts at attention grabbing Gareth will make, throwing temper tantrums as everyone ignores him :-) (Trolls like him tend to get much worse, hoping to provoke a reaction, before they finally give up - so to work it does need everyone to remain strong and resist the urge to follow up any of his posts).

[quoted text clipped - 13 lines] > >Matt That's true but now I don't even get to see any of his replies or even cross posted posts with his input in them. Because the news readers automatically sends the headers you can select these as a filter amongst others, even using a false email address won't work as it clocks the ISP's reference code for that person.
At one time it was fun but now he's obviously having mental health problems and it's not so funny from both sides. Unfortunately we can see it but I dare say g.a.r.e.t.h. [ need that for the filter ] being ill can't. Possibly he will go away but I'm not worried as to all intents and purposes he ceases to exist for me.
It's like having a temper tantrum in mime, in a dark room, no one knows you are there. <BG> -- Regards,

Airy R. Bean - 28 Jun 2004 21:57 GMT The Google record shows that it is John Stevenson who is the habitue of infantile temper tantrums.
And I agree, since you and he, How-weird and others have desisted from your rather silly and infantile abusive onslaughts, the silence has, indeed, been blissful.

Your grip on reality hasn't come back then, has it.
The same old Westinghouse problem.

I think the guy is on a winner here, I installed this about the middle of the month and since then I have seen no posts or any replies where he has posted. I have even took him off the group filter list so that Newsblock is doing all the filtering and presumably it has caught every one as I haven't received one references to the twonk. Could be though he has took some advise and gone to get some help for what must be getting a serious mental condition. -- Regards,

Surprising how effective it is, I've used it for another mumpty (somewhere else) and it has proven once again that it does work.

Airy R. Bean - 29 Jun 2004 17:18 GMT Mr.Stevenson would appear to be exhibiting the Freudian coping mechanism known as, "Projection".
> >Could be though he has took some advise and gone to get some help for what > >must be getting a serious mental condition. Airy R. Bean - 29 Jun 2004 18:03 GMT And not only that, for someone who is leading a mass temper- tantrum and sulk by those who made themselves look very silly by their infantile tirades which went unrequited by me, Mr.stevenson seems to be keen to resurrect the topic that he hypocriticises as not wanting.
