Does any one know who makes a range of paints that exactly match the
colours Bachmann use on their diesels? Particularly the grey roof
colour on the
EE Type 1 Class 20 D8134 green locomotive. Thanks.

None to my knowledge, but (for example) when there's a significant shade
difference between the BR blues used by Bachmann, Hornby and Heljan you're
expecting a lot really.

And since there was a significant shade difference between the BR blues
used by BR, you're expecting too much.

My next project: Extend the layout back up the other side of the garden.

BR standard loco blue was just that, a standard colour and only varied due
to fading or weathering.  There were of course other shades of blue used at
different times including electric blue on the AC loco's in the early 1960s,
but this is not normally referred to as BR blue.  ;-)
