One would probably find the cost of acquiring the necessary catalogues
via Ebay would exceed the 23 quid cost of Pat's Ramsays Guide by a
substantial amount.
Also, the creation of the limited edition market is a comparatively
recent development and these are listed in Ramsays, but many items
don't make it into catalogues, especially when model runs are
commissioned by retailers etc.

Pat's book is very useful but if the OP wants to peruse catalogues it's
hardly the same thing, especially when it comes to illustrations.
