Bachmann 37 Chassis/ Hornby 56 Body

On an earlier thread, Mr. Turner mentions that one of his customers has
tried the above conversion and is very pleased with the results.

Anybody else tried this and care to give an explanation of how, to us
uninitiated folk? What modifications are involved and is it within the grasp
of a relative halfwit such as myself?

Not used the Bachmann 37 for this, but have done a couple with Hornby Class
50 motors and drive trains. I'm waiting for the Class 60 bogies to come out,
as these should have the correct (asymetric) wheel-base.. It's fairly
straightforward, and the performance has to be seen to be believed. I've
written some notes on the modification process- would you like a copy?
