"Fishplates"? This _is_ Peco we're talking about here, with their
strange ideas about nomenclature, so shouldn't they be called "Rail
Joiners"

Could be an about to be disappointed restaurant when they receive their pack
of what they thought were very cheap fish platters.

Presumably they mean their first order to a shop/wholesaler and not
their first order full stop? Perhaps one of these oligarchs has
just started to get interested in model railways? :)
