Considering it has over 5000 articles I thought it looked OK and it's

Indeed, and I don't claim to be, but having read some of the articles,
IMHO you would be better with a few issues of Railway Modeller or the
like.

Most of the links on each page are totally irrelevant to Raillway
modelling and the site is full of advertising.

Err I did you say you were claiming to be an expert .... for that
matter I did not refer to your at all.  All I was saying was some
people are not experts ( or claim to be ) so I thought this free site
was a starting point for some.

On the subject of " the site is full of advertising " what do you
think pays for the upkeep of these sites ?
