hi look can enny one realy tell me what is the
Australian  C-TICK CERTIFICATION. and what its for

ive got a spectrum for my r/c car and cant see no c-tick cert on
it al all.

i know we cant use 75ghz in australia. ..... but is it realy that
bad if we perchase a radio from ste states like a futaba 3pm 2.4ghz ?
or a jrxs-3 27ghx??

what dose this all mean....
also dose the dx3r work enny better on water then the rx3 as i know
the dx3 is no good for water but is the dx3r enny better. .... or is a
futaba 3pm enny better.
has enny one got enny good replys about this as im getting sick of
trying to get hold of controlers in austalia and no supllyers ever
having enny stock ... and then thay say only get a controler that has a
c-tick cert on it ive never seen one of these .......what is it and
why.....if it only has to do with the goverment . we  thay can go take
a leap...... if it works in the states why cant it work hear .. whats
all the fuss about and why dose a controler here cost 230 to 400 and
the same controler in the states only cost 130 to 290
????????????????????????????????????????????????

ur gettin ur ghz and mhz mixed up. No such thing at 75 ghz or 27 ghz. It's
either 75mHz, or 27mHz or 2.4GHz!

I wouldn't use a spektrum 2.4Ghz in a boat if you gave it to me. Seen way
too many problems. I have seen the Futaba and Airtronics (Sanwa) 2.4Ghz do
just fine in boats.

It all comes down to supply and demand on why we pay much more in
Australia for RC goods than in the U.S.A.  The hobby is pretty big in
the states and at the end of the day, because Australian hobby
suppliers don't buy huge quantities of RC gear at a time, they don't
get the large order discounts.  Add that fact to overheads for a hobby
shop etc and all of a sudden you are twice the price on what you can
buy on the net for.  Simple as that really......

Contrary to what Jim has said, there are a few guys down at my club
that run DX3's in fast electrics with no glitching problems.  I have
read in many places that the spektrum radios don't like water and I
have also read that some of them do.

I still run AM and it still goes fine.

Excellent choice! Of all the radios I have, the JR XS-3 is my favorite!
It is rock solid and reliable. I have several of them. Probably 5 or 6
transmitters and 8 or 9 receivers! yeah, I know. Overkill but I'm a bit
of a hardware junkie.
Where are you located? I'm in Land O' Lakes, FL USA.
