Again could anybody help. I'm building my first model power boat and was
wondering about engine sizes.  This is not for racing, purely fun.

The boat is deep V 36" long 7 3/4" wide.  I have an old aero engine
that is 0.40 cu inches, but I am worried about how to cool this.

Also would people recommend a surface piercing stern drive or a more
traditional under boat propeller.

Thanks

The engine should work fine being air cooled as long as you have no
hatch covering it up.  i.e. it gets airflow.   Depending on your hull
design, I would recommend a surface drive for a standard Monohull.
