i need help tuneing my boat

hello,, i have a outrigger with a ops-40 engine i am haveing trouble
getting it to run  good,,can anybody tell me how to adjust the carb
settings it well not run right, what nitro is the best 10% or 20% ,

I'm no expert on Nitro as I only run Gas boats (just starting on some
fast electrics).  The guys down the lake run 25%-45% nitro in their
boats.

I guess one method to try is to set your needle rich, start the boat
and then lean the needle a bit.  Throw it in the water and see how it
runs.  Bring it back in and lean it some more and then run it again.
Repeat until it doesn't run well then go back to the previous setting.

The key is Rich = running boat and Lean = stalling boat
