How do I achieve a planked deck effect when using a first quality ply as the
deck?

Do you draw the lines and varnish over?
Do you overlay a prepared deck print and seal?
Is there some special way of incising the design?

Any assistance appreciated especially if you have achieved the effect
successfully

Thanks

use a scribe and score the plywood, about 1/32" deep, with parallel lines to
acheve a planked look. This was the recommended method for the Dumas 48"
pt109 and it looks great.

I scribed a deck with a hard pencil and steel rule, then painted it white.
A friend did the same and finished the deck bright.  Both look fine.
