I wish I could help Rick but I only have an idea on Gas boats with
23-26cc engines. Even with those it sometimes takes a lot of trial and
error to work out the best prop.

;).. Laws apply here so:- probably a mix of the relationship between
*Drag* (boat design/draft/mass) & *Torque* (motorsize/gearing) & *Prop*
(blade shape/number/angle).
A powerful motor, fast running with a 'coarse' helix prop will
cavitate... everything the same -'shallow'- helix prop would be fine
_all_above_ SLOW running >> 'coarse' helix will be fine...
FYI here, in Newcastle upon Tyne, we have the *Turbinia*, built as the
first Steam Turbine powered boat _ever_... Armstrong (designer/builder)
didn't know what prop would work either!.. LoL (he built numerous scale
models... but then, he had a huge Armaments factory, probably got
someone else to make them ;<)
If yrr not gettin' anywhere... try other R/C boat Forums.
Everyone has 2cents worth.. *even me*.. &I don't have a BOAT..
