I picked up a Homelite motor for the 72" hull that I am making from the
plans that I have down loaded.
Do you think it will push it along OK. I have been told that it is
about 33cc.
Does any one know about this motor.
What size prop do you think I will need.
Thanks

Try going for a larger prop as these engines don't produce the high rpm
like zenoahs but they still have reasonable tourque. Something around
80mm like the Octura X482 or a Prather 280 or a Propshop 8015.
If your engine doesn't have the tourque to drive these props then try
something around 70mm.

An Octura X470/3 might be worth a try also. Doug

im building a highly modified 25cc homie in my boat ... cant remember
the prop i got .. but boy is it sharp now , after balancing and
polishing of course.
but i have a 2 piece hull ,, my question is joining the halves ...
cant really glass them together easily , so... i was thinking about
what is used for auto windshields .... urethane sealant .. this stuff
holds glass in and its water proof (but VERY MESSY )
anyone have a coment about this idea .... ?
