I need to mount a Malabuchi 550 in a tugboat. I am looking for
a mount. There has got to be one out there somewhere.
Thankyou

An easy way is to build a 1/2 inch wide former that the motor is
cradled in.
add a 1 inch wide saddle to support the motor. Fashion a curved
aluminum
strap to fit the top half of the motor and secure with screws. Lots of
other
ways but this works. You can even add a water coil and enlarge the
mount
to accomodate the coil, then add the strap. If you don't like water
cooling
then rig up a squirrel cage blower to force cool thru the front of the
motor
with a wood or ABS duct. Hot air exits out the brush area. Blowers
cost $4.00.
