I agree with Henry, but I have some more tidbits. 2000mah NiMH batteries
are only AA size and available for under $25, usually. They'll give you
even MORE sailing time.
On my Robbe Atlantis, where I have the need (and room in the bilge) I use a
4500 6v pack which is a square C-size pack. That powers 2 sailwinch servos,
steering, and a couple other doodads.
Also, depending on your sailwinch servo, you can direct-wire the battery
leads, thereby bypassing the receiver, which will increase the voltage that
the winch 'sees'. Alain's site (see replies in this group by A.T.) has
wiring schematics. It's easy.
