I want to scratch-build a cigarette hull about 5 feet long, how do I
start?  I have a perfect sized pond nearby that is not being used.
All I have now is a side-view line drawing of one that is pretty
detsiled.
Thanks

If you download this Adobe Acrobat file, it has details of how to build a
plank on frame model sailboat. The methods could be adapted to a
scratch-build hull of any style if you can come up with the dementions of
the forms.

This site has a demo program available that you might use to put together
the dementions for the forms. You can change the dementions of the boats
that are in the program. It's a small MS DOS program that is easy to learn.

Good luck.
