Hi hope someone can help, im looking for plans and pictures and any
information about either Southampton Colony or Fiji Class Cruisers for
a large model I'm restoring. I think its 1/96 scale or 1/144 no that
sure yet only just started.

Any information and copy plans would be very welcome all any cost in
copying and posting would be refunded .

Hope someone can help please email any information you can.

All the best

I have a few suggestions that would at least give you a start.  For detailed
drawings I would suggest the Maritime Museum in Greenwich

As for the books, most of which are at least available used:

Ensign 5 - Town Class Cruisers by Allen Raven & John Roberts
In the Ensign Series there was also listed one for Colony Class Cruisers but
I do not know if it was ever printed.  It does not come up on the book
search.  Ensign 5 is available used.

British Cruisers of World War Two by Allen Raven & John Roberts
Cruisers in Camera by Roger Hayward  RN & Commonwealth & Empire cruisers
The Design and Construction of British Warships 1939-1945 Major Surface
Warships  Ed D.K.Brown
British Warships of the Second World War John Roberts: Has general
arrangement drawings of the Manchester
Cruisers of World War Two: An International Encyclopedia by M.J. Whitley,
some pictures and a line drawing

A long shot would be the Profile Warship Series.  I do not know if they ever
did one of a Town or Fiji Class Cruiser.  I think the closest they came was
one of the Belfast.

regards
