I installed the Bow wieght tonight, and am waiting for the glue to dry. If
all goes well, tomorrow, I'll launch the Tug tethered by a fishing pole, in
case it konks out on the Maiden Voyage.

                               Wish for luck!!

The Mr Darby is  one boat that I have always wanted to build.  How difficult
was the project?  Is there a lot of time invested in
shaping/sanding/prepping etc.... all of those little metal gizmo's?  It
looks like there are a ton of little bits & pieces.  How many hours do you
have into it?  Any photo's?  Good luck with your maiden voyage!  JOE

Can I post a picture here? I dont know if I can. I'll put up another post to
ask. BTW, I bought the boat when it was 90% complete. All the hull, deck, and
electronics were in the boat.

You DID install a bilge pump, right?

Yes, there is a bilge pump. I think its automatic, cause when I looked in
there the other day, I noticed 2 wires connected to an automotive car fuse
(you know the blade style? ) taped together along side of the bilge pump
motor. I guess when the 2 blades contact the water inside, it will activate.
I haven't been able to get it to so far with the transmitter. With all the
weight in there, this things getting HEAVY!! Must be near 80 pounds. If I
take the battery out, its a little easier to tote.
