CUSTOM DESIGN HULL

Hello
We are thinking of making a model boat that we can use on lakes and
ponds with a camera/glass bottom window that will send back to a TV
receiver the images of what it see's on the bottom. We might end up
putting some sort of robot arm on it to pick things up.
Obviously this is a sort of outdoor technical project rather than making
a scale model of a ship to put on a shelf.
Firstly... are there any model kits out there on the market that you
know about that would already fit this description. If not them we build
it ourselves... so are there and fibreglass or wooden hull kits
available out there that would fill the kind of hull shape we need for
this?
Any help
appreciated
Heather ;-)

p.s
Maybe we might decide to go a little further and try an actual
exploritory robot submarine... where on earth would we find people who
talk about that sort of thing and can tell us how they work and supply
parts?

I can build a custom hull that would work with what you're wanting to
do. Visit my site at http://www.dragg.net/jbrown

There are some people who build r/c subs with cameras. Do a Google
search and the links should show up.
