hello

looking into getting a RC sailboat and have some questions
on the radios that come with the 'packages'

one requires 12 AA batteries - that seems like a huge
amount to me and pricey too!

another talks about a range of 80 to 120 feet, seems
mighty short to me (but has a rechargeable battery)

what should I be looking for? What's available?

I was hoping to spend $250 or less.

thanks

80-120 sounds wrong, unless it is real cheap. Ground radio kits cost about
$100 for a 2 channel setup and have a ramge of a couple miles (depending)
and most have rechargeable batteries for the transmitter
