Hi all
I am moving into a home that is on a lake. Which boat kit do you
recommend for this environment. Also I am a beginner to this hobby.
Any suggestions for an all around easy to operate kit?

Look for plans and wood,
I think the best size, not sure about kits, is something
that'll hold a chain saw or weedeater motor.
I estimate about  3 feet long maybe a foot or little more wide.
Been thinking about boat since I'm near canal.
I've been looking for plans online, checked one hobby shop, locally in South
Fl.
They haven't had plans there for awhile, they don't even really stock any
kits, boat
plane or otherwise , most people it seems are into the RTF's or ARTF.
Saw some plans on ebay and rcuniverse forums, so I may take a shot at one,
have a saw and gas trimmer I could "sacrifice."
Have an old 2 channel Futaba I can use in it
I need some practice with wood, my hall has tools, so it is
only being lazy, that I havn't started.
In conclusion, biuld it yourself, go slow so as not to get discouraged.
