tips???  Many of my RC friends tried to discourage me from this plane
they all fly on "trainer-type" birds with simple floats attached.  Bu
I just love the looks of the Mariner compared to the "others".   Thank

You might find it better in the flying newsgroup, or try the following
websites:

www.rcgroups.com ( http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=174 )
www.rcuniverse.com ( http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_176/tt.htm )

The bracketed links are their seaplane forums.  This is primarily a boat
oreinted
newsgroup.  But someone could reply if they happen to catch it.

Good luck, and fair winds,

Travis

The mariner flies great but on both of mine that I had the water ends up
getting into the tail feathers and the covering tries to come off. It's easy
to take off and a breeze to land.  Seal the edges of the covering with some
clear polyurethane of something before you fly it the first time.
