Now that Great Planes no longer distributes Billing products, my local hobby
store can't get the things I need. Can anyone suggest a good online site in
the the US ?

Could try Model Expo at www.modelepoonline.com, not sure about Billings
stuff but they do carry a lot of gear, two in the UK are
www.euromodels.co.uk and www.model-dockyard.com who carry a massive
amount of stuff,
