I am currently building what for me is a concept boat. I have decided to
design and build a fast electric waterjet boat starting from the motor
up. The idea is to see if such a boat could viably compete against prop
driven boats of similar capacity. Apart from that its a bit of fun. Any
views/advice would be appreciated.

Looking @ your pix you used the same graupner jetdrive as me but I feel
the hull you fitted it to was too big, I am using one half the size
which will create far less surface drag, plus a speed 600bb race motor
which runs @ 22000 rpm. Hopefully it will skip along at a greater
speed. But I wonder if the waterjet itself is up to the job?
