Hi Everybody :)

This is a great forum :) I am from Australia and it is not common place
to have tug boats on the lakes here, but I am looking a building one
from the hull up. I noticed that there is a great plan on the download
section but I am after the dwg of the plans so that I can get the
dimensions or a similar tug boat plan. I have never built a boat from
scratch so this is a big jump for me, but I am up for the challenge ;)
Does anybody have any suggestions etc? it has to be big enough as I am
going to be fitting a bow thruster into it as well (it will double as a
rescue boat when I go sailing ;))

Appreciate any help,

greywolf

I was going to build a tug boat and use it as a rescue boat for my gas
powered boats ,but someone linked me to
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=522762 and the Springer
boats.I got the wood and cut out the hull sides and bow and transom
pieces so far.I'm going to put a rescue/retreival barge on the front
from the plans at the bottom of the page
http://oldriverbillzumwalt.members.ktis.net/kits_&_plans.htm There are
links to other types of boats and plans for them.
