You can try these ones made by Areomarine (I think). There are also some that use an O-Ring - I'll try and get a photo of it later (if I wander out to my garage). My next build I am trying some cowl locks using rare earth magnets. Use that in conjunction with some sealing strip and you have yourself a decent seal that won't take your nice paintjob off. In FE boats, we generally use hockey tape which is available at www.offshoreelectrics.com Hockey tape completely seals your hull from leakage in the event of a blowover etc, however if you are powering with a nitro or gas motor, that might be a little difficult. You can buy a product called Prather tape as well, aka hatch tape. Signaturedeestingray So far, I've used 1/8" closed cell wx strip tape for sealing the hatch and a stud/knurled knob combination at each end to hold it down. Home Depot sells #6 studs that have wood threads on one end and machine screw threads on the other. They also sell the knurled knobs I use to screw onto the machine threaded side (I think they are sold as replacements for light fixtures). This isn't the slickest or lightest solution, but it's secure, water tight, cheap, and easy.
