correx. Using outer skin laminate to take away the heat used in covering and

Renewal Batteries30 Sep 2003 21:03 GMT1
This doesn't have much to do with the RC Hobby, but I thought since there
are lot of battery experts here somebody might know.  A while ago, I bought
the Renewal battery system from Rayovak.  I never had much luck with them, a
lot of the batteries wouldn't recharge only after a ...

Hi gang,
Does anyone have any info on Tony Clark kits. A google search returned
references on European sites featuring some of the kits at scale model
meets, but no specific info on the designer or manufacturer.
How to start with a hub nut?30 Sep 2003 18:36 GMT34
Removed my spinner while in experimenting with different props so got a
nice big brass hub for the front.  Turned my electric starter cone
around  now can't seem to keep the starter on the hub for more than
about one turn or so, not enough to start the engine.  Is there a

Does anyone know Taylor West?30 Sep 2003 17:22 GMT4
I bought a Cearmark Porterfield Collegiate at the NEAT Fair, from a
fellow named Taylor West.  He said he was from Massachusetts.  He said
he had forgotten the cowl for the plane and would mail it to me.  I
gave him some money just to insure I would get it.
Difference in 10% and 15% Nitro?30 Sep 2003 12:20 GMT10
For a Saito?  Another Newbie question.  Broke in my 65 with 15% nitro
20% oil (50-50)  and that gallon is gone.  Got some SIG 10% next, what
changes can I expect with this fuel?  Adjustments?  Prop sizes?  Wrong
fuel for a Saito 65?
piston/liner help needed30 Sep 2003 07:05 GMT3
My mate owns an SC 120 (poor soul) and has stuffed the
piston/ring/liner.
SC's are no longer available in Australia and the importer has no
further spares and never will have any.
Graupner MC-2430 Sep 2003 03:48 GMT3
I have a Graupner MC-24  Remote Control system I used
to fly aeroplane models with back home in Germany / Italy.
Now I'm in Melbourne, FL, studying, and I would really
like to fly again... My RC has a 35Mhz frequency, Channel 61.
Blistering cowls30 Sep 2003 01:57 GMT4
Having flown around 10 flights with my new Spacewalker I have found the cowl
(which I spray painted with fuel proof paint from the model shop) is
blistering and samll flakes of paint debris is getting everywhere.
Despite fuel proof paint - suspect the odd bit of spilt fuel (cool ...
Engine for Robinhood 99?30 Sep 2003 01:41 GMT1
I will be building a Robinhood 99 (99" wing span) this winter.  I am
building it from plans, so I don't have any written instructions, and
don't know what they recommend for engines.  Anyone have any
experience with this plane, or have any suggestions?  I prefer gas
