Smoke systems..10 Sep 2003 21:47 GMT3
How do they work?

Anyone have a link to a "smoke" page?
wing sheeting, Balsa vs. Thin Plywood?10 Sep 2003 21:42 GMT9
I was wondering what the advantages and disadvantages of balsa vs very
thin plywood wing sheeting were?  I am working on the design of a scale
model and was wondering if I should maybe use the thin plywood instead
of balsa.  Does any one have density figures on the plywood so I can
Fuel remover10 Sep 2003 18:48 GMT10
I know this has probably been asked and answered a million times on here
but isn't there a basic product that can be purchased locally that when
applied to nitromethane soaked wood that will evaporate it out of the
wood?

Ascent Sailplane10 Sep 2003 15:50 GMT2
I am new to R.C. and bought a crashed/damaged E-flight Asent electric
sailplane. I must replace the "spinner" (this plane is missing the stock
one).  The prop and motor checked out fine.......it just looks bad. I
don't know how to find a replacement that will work with my folding
Reversing servo (not really R/C related)10 Sep 2003 15:24 GMT1
Hi, I'm currently working on a project on my car (real one not R/C), I'm
trying to convert my manual slider control for my climate control to a
digital one that was only available in Japan. But since Japanese cars are
right hand drive the servo to control the air mix (to select ...
At last10 Sep 2003 13:52 GMT1
The 'orrible 'ot weather seems to have fled and there is a decent
wind and lovely, towering grey clouds.
First chance to leave the metal thermal and it's life support equipment
at home and nip up the slope with a couple of models (planes that is ! )
Landing a Giles 202 !10 Sep 2003 13:34 GMT4
I've just built a Giles 202 quarter scale (Great Planes) and find it's the
most difficult 'plane to land I ever had. It either stalls or bounces up and
then stalls in!
Any suggestions?

I have two Futaba Gold FM TX's ref FP-T7FG/K that I would like to 'buddy

be pleased if anyone has info on the availability of a lead or the pin
connections so I can make a lead myself.

New Glue Gun10 Sep 2003 00:50 GMT13
I was watching the Home Repair channel and saw them using a hot glue gun for
gluing 2x4 together.  It was hot melt urethane.  The benefit of it was the
ease of use of a hot glue gun, but the strength of urethane glue.  It had 3
types of glues that could be used, depending on set ...

Most clubs have a Chairman, secretary, Safety officer etc well we have a

weight on the rudder to enable him to prop hang etc and ...

Multiplex Skycat Thrustline09 Sep 2003 10:32 GMT4
Has anyone on the group built an electric version Skycat recently?
Following the instructions, parts 24 & 25 appear to be labelled incorrectly.
If you build it the way they suggest, it seems to me the thrustline will be
off to the left, instead of the right - as it presumably should ...
