Bearings replacement29 Sep 2003 22:09 GMT5
I need to replace the bearings in an OS 46 FXH motorbut I'm not sure how
to proceed.  Do I need to remove the piston sleeve ?  Do I heat the
crankcase to remove the front bearing ?
Thanks
Horror Story29 Sep 2003 20:57 GMT57
This happened a couple of weeks ago, I watched the video, should have a copy
in a few days.
A well respected local builder and pilot, been in the hobby  a LONG time
buys a 104" P-38. Installs two G-26's, JR 10X, PCM, flys the plane for a
CG Ultimate Engine suggestions?29 Sep 2003 19:03 GMT9
Guys and Dolls:
I'm trying to chose an engine for the Goldberg Ultimate.  I'm looking
for strong IMAC style performance.  I want the vertical limit in my
hands, and not the engines.
recommended motor, gearbox, prop for small park flyer?29 Sep 2003 18:28 GMT1
Having trouble with my GWS pico-stik-F.  It flew better outdoors with
the original prop(EP-1047) than with the recommended outdoor prop
(EP-9070): with the latter it now hasn't the pep to stay aloft, even
at 8.4V rather than the original 7.2V.  I wonder if I should

JR XP652 Tx: Gimble broken, need replacement29 Sep 2003 17:55 GMT5
When I got to the field today I realized that my right gimble was
broken.  I took the Tx apart and found out that the little plastic
"nub" that the gimble pivots vertically on had snapped off.  I don't
think I would trust a glue joint on such a critical piece, so I'll

Desperate for help with Piccolo29 Sep 2003 12:02 GMT3
Experts,
I have just build my Piccolo but have real problems with the controls.  I am
using a Sanwa RD6000 and, because there is no mixing required, have been
advised to use one of the Aero settings. The 6000 is set to PPM.
Motors for slow and park flyer questions29 Sep 2003 05:37 GMT3
I have been looking at some of the web sites and am very confused about
what motors go with what size planes.  With Glow engens it is a simple
mater of knowing if it is 2 stroke or 4 stroke and what the displacement
is.  I can't seem to see any standard size indicators for the ...
Re: RCU lies...29 Sep 2003 02:22 GMT7
There aren't any 65,000 members.
There were some 30,000 before the "merge"(takeover?) with RCA.  Then
60,000.  Are you telling me that there were 30,000 people on RCA that
were NOT members of RCU? Come on...
Mixture problem with Leo 37SF29 Sep 2003 00:20 GMT6
I bought a Leo 37SF a few weeks ago from Just Engines and am having loads of
problems with it.  I've been in touch with Paul at Just Engines and he's been
helpful, so just to be clear I'm not bad mouthing them or Leo but I'm running
out of ideas!  I'd like to get some suggestions ...
Need help with my first model29 Sep 2003 00:02 GMT2
I bought my first RC plane two weeks ago and am having trouble due to a lack of info in
the instructions.  I have an electric Sopwith Pup from Kavan (foam not balsa).  The
instructions do not mention anything about mounting of the receiver nor speed controller.
They show a small ...

I lost my Carl Goldberg Slylane 62 wing and need to rebuild.
I realise this is ancient model but someone may have the wing profile for me
to generate a new set of ribs.

Protecting plans28 Sep 2003 22:04 GMT5
Just about to start my first 'Built from Plan, aircraft (other than WOT 4's)
and wondering the best way to protect plans whilst gluing parts together.
Imagine that if not protected, Cyano etc will stick to the surface and I am
going to be ripping pieces out all over the place.
