Webra .50 won't run06 Sep 2003 11:48 GMT2
I bought a Webra .50 on ebay, It has a clamp on muffler that consists  of
two parallel pipes roughly 3/8" in diameter with small holes near the ends
and a pressure tap for the tank. It starts fine but after a minute or so it
just quits , restart...same thing. When it gets good and ...
Goldberg Decathlon ARF Hinges??06 Sep 2003 07:46 GMT1
The Carl Goldberg Decathlon ARF instructions specify 4 hinges for the rudder
and 4 hinges for each elevator half. The surfaces are only slotted for 3 hinges
per surface. Has anyone put this thing together? How many hinges did you use?
Thanks
How to empty a fuel tank with a YS engine??!?06 Sep 2003 01:15 GMT1
I have a YS 63 and since it has a check valve I have to disconnect it
before I fill the tank. That's no problem. But when it comes to
emptying the tank, if I open the air line, high pressure fuel comes
shooting out. How am I supposed to empty a pressurized tank without
Mounting the antenna05 Sep 2003 22:54 GMT8
Do most of you mount your receiver antenna from the fuselage to the tail or
is there some other clever way doing it??? Thanks ahead of time...
Firebird XL05 Sep 2003 14:15 GMT5
My Grandson and myself have been merrily crashing our Firebird XL.  Our last
aborted landing ended with the prop missing.  After replacing the prop I notice
I don't seem to have enough power.  The prop seems to have the same diameter as
the original prop, but what about the pitch? ...
Newbie - Xtra Easy 2 Question05 Sep 2003 13:55 GMT3
I'm a complete newbie looking to get into the hobby. I saw this RTF
kit at a local hobby store. It comes with the JR XF421 radio and the
"new" Evolution Trainer engine. I've done a quick search on this topic
and it seems that the plane is a pretty good trainer - how about the

Astroflight Cobalt 05 direct drive compares to what??05 Sep 2003 10:03 GMT6
I have an AstroFlight Cobalt 05 direct drive motor in a Midwest Electric
Hots that I am tired of flying . I was thinking on picking up something
else, but most everything I see uses either the smaller 180/280 motors or a
Speed 500. Since this is the only electric I have owned, is ...

OS 46 TX or Thunder Tiger Pro 4604 Sep 2003 23:08 GMT7
I know there have been a lot of posts on this but I would like to ask
one more time.  I am specifically looking for first-hand experience
with both.  Which has more power (using same fuel and prop) and which
will last longer (flown exactly the same way).  I already have the OS
Westwing's Toucan - any hints & tips to building?04 Sep 2003 21:36 GMT1
I've just got my hands on the kit, and was wondering if anybody had
any useful hints or tips regarding building one of these planes...
Anybody fitted ailerons or flaps to one?
I'll be using micro rx, mini servos and recommended motor and battery.
Pull-Pull cable guide04 Sep 2003 21:29 GMT1
In trying to set up the rudder pull-pull cables, I've noticed that one
of the wires has a kink in it as it exists the fuselage. I've looked
into lengthening the exit hole or moving the servo, but that is not
going to help. Has anyone used a guide of some sort in order to
