| SuperNova Charger | 04 Sep 2003 14:29 GMT | 4 |
A while ago, someone on this group posted the link for a set of instructions for the Supernova 250 charger, these were much better than the ones provided by Pro-Peak/Ripmax. I downloaded the PDF files for the manual & flowchart at the time, but now I

I posted a few construction photos of a SIG Astro Hog to alt.binaries.radio-control this morning. It will be a tail dragger, powered by an OS 70 Surpass. It will have the receiver and S3004 servos that came with a Futaba 6XAS I lucked into for a

| New Wattage Odyssey is lame! | 04 Sep 2003 13:05 GMT | 5 |
Don't waste your money on the new Wattage Odyssey park flyer.I bought one thinking it would be a fun little plane. The geared 180 motor is so anemic that you have to pray for altitude. It can't get out of it's own way. It won't do aileron rolls, it won't loop.

| bbmf Chipmunk | 04 Sep 2003 08:18 GMT | 1 |
I am building a 1/6 scale DHC Chipmunk and would like to finish it as one of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Chippies, but, I am having some trouble finding good photos or close-ups of the decals or much at all that would help me to make a good job of it.

| New Engine run-in | 04 Sep 2003 07:33 GMT | 8 |
I'll be running in a new engine soon and just wanted to know best way to do so. Its a .47 GMS 2000 with remote high end needle valve. Instuctions call for running engine for 15-20 minutes before full throttle ops and thats about it... Isn't there more to it than that? As usual, ...

| electric motor query | 03 Sep 2003 21:30 GMT | 2 |
What is the difference, in terms of performance, between a single and a double wound electric motor ? I presume that the double windings are in parallel and therefore half the resistance of a single wind (assuming that the same gauge of wire is used in both cases). That being the ...

| Rear Mounted Servos | 03 Sep 2003 15:45 GMT | 16 |
I finished assembling an Ultra Stick 40 and found the model to be a little nose heavy. One of the guys at the flying field suggested I move the elevator and the rudder servos further back. By locating them on either side of the fuselage about half way between the leading edge of ...

| EZ P-51 Mustang 45 | 03 Sep 2003 08:10 GMT | 1 |
This plane rocks. I took it up for the first time this weekend. I installed a YS 63, which seems to be perfectly matched to this plane. If YS still sold the 91 I would probably have gotten that (it woulda been ridiculously fast), but the 1.10 is just toooo expensive for a 5-8% ...

| Polyurethane continued | 03 Sep 2003 05:28 GMT | 10 |
I decided to go ahead with using clear minwax polyurethane on my plane. I went to Home Depot and most of the Minwax cans were labeled for indoor use and none were gloss. I thought the ndoor stuff would not have any UV resistance so I looked for an outdoor product. Minwax had a ...
