| an aircraft design question | 27 Sep 2003 19:18 GMT | 4 |
I have an old Tempo II from Balsa USA. It has a flat-bottomed parasol wing with significant dihedral and was originally designed for three channel use. I added barn door ailerons. I believe it will have a significant amount of adverse yaw when making a turn using the ailerons.

| YS 63: Sent for Repair | 27 Sep 2003 18:52 GMT | 3 |
As many of you know I was having problems with my YS 63. Before getting through the first gallon of 20/20 the engine began to idle erratically and it would always die when I cranked the throttle. I just got it back from YS today. They did not charge me a cent, and on the invoice ...

Saw a 3d demo at the field and was really impressed. Probably due mostly the skill of the pilot but the plane was a very good flyer and appeared to be well put together. The plane was powered with a .46 engine and was called the Diablo X. I got

| Vibrations = short flight? | 27 Sep 2003 05:25 GMT | 10 |
I have an AXI 2820 10 brushless electric motor with about 15 flights or about 90 minutes of used from it. At first the flight duration was about 7 minutes at medium throttle. Then as time passes, the flights became shorter.

I've taking on the task of building a topflite .60 size F4u Corsair. I've been flying a couple of years but this is my first kit to build. I plan on using mechanical retracts, actuating each strut with a Hitech hs-75BB, and would like to have one strut lag behind the other

Didn't someone organise a specific newsgroup for all this AMA crap? No-one outside of the US (and probably many from *inside* the US too.....) wants to keep seeing this bickering over AMA elections et al. This is a global 'forum' guys......surely we can all keep it relevant?

Can anyone here tell me if there's a difference between the "Bycmo R/C Impreza" on sale via Radio control magazine and the Tamiya equivalent? The advert for the Bycmo says it will do 40mph yet adverts for the Tamiya say it will only do 20mph yet the two cars look identical and the ...

| Models on TV | 26 Sep 2003 19:47 GMT | 6 |
At 9-50 p.m. tonight ( Thursday 25th) on BBC2 there is a programme " Industrial Nation". The programme description includes " a modeller who built and flew a 200 year old design". I was there when the flying was recorded - should be good. Only a ten minute programme though.

| RCU "you can link product directly to your post" | 26 Sep 2003 16:54 GMT | 3 |
This is absolutely amazing and shows how clueless RCU is. They want their USER's to become a shill for their advertisers. Like I said, amazing!.. and it's getting worse than we thought it was going to be.
