Clevises that don't flop about24 Sep 2003 20:47 GMT5
I recently built an Irvieb "Wild Card" and after its maiden flight I
decided to upgrade the supplied control horns and clevises because they
have a severe case of slop owing to the clevis pins being too small for
the holes in the control horns.

Sandy,
I have not always agreed with you and have frequently thought your
directions were wrong, but for the good of the organization I determined to
Great Planes C-10 ESC and Lithium Cells ??24 Sep 2003 15:45 GMT3
Is there anyone out there using a GP C-10 ESC with 3 lithium cells? I know
that this will be a bit over the recommended voltage but the amps will be
well below allowable limit using a 280 size motor. Is it possible or am I
going to fry it by trying this combo?
Planes stored in garage?24 Sep 2003 08:34 GMT4
I just built some storage racks for my RC planes out in my unheated
attached garage, and was wondering if storing them out there will
cause me any long term problems.  Up till now, I have been keeping my
planes in my heated basement, but I was running out of storage room

How far does part B hang over Part A. I can't see it if it's there but

Another great fly in at Bomber Field was held for the fifteenth year in a row.

planes. One group flew in from Australia just to see the event.
Weather didn't cooperate Sunday but Friday and Saturday ...
Metric threaded rod couplers24 Sep 2003 03:29 GMT3
I'm hoping someone in Canada can help me out here. I need some M5x.8
threaded rod couplers for the crankshafts on a couple of my .15
engines, and I am having a tough time finding them in the US. They may
also be called "long nuts."

YS .91FZ - air in fuel line24 Sep 2003 00:11 GMT9
OK, I've got a YS .91FZ that hasn't even been on a plane yet. It's about 1
year old and I've run about 1 gallon of Cool Power 20% through it on the
bench all the while trying to get the idle right. Seems like I get it, then
next tank it's off again. Anyway, today I was bench running ...

An apology to Horrace Cain23 Sep 2003 22:50 GMT2
Horrace,
I am almost ashamed of my self because I have been having a very good belly
laugh at your expense all afternoon and evening. Let me share a couple of
trivial details with you and see if I can help you can figure a way out of
Croydon Club Show23 Sep 2003 22:42 GMT6
Well I don't see anything on the group about it so here goes!!
I had an absolutely brilliant weekend at Hop Farm near Paddock Wood in Kent
at the above Club Show. What a venue, what a camp site, what a flying site.
Loads of trade there and doing good "end of season" prices. SMS ...

find anyone who could convert a modern TX to cuddle box type.
He has a JR 388. (35mhz)
