| Stripped HS55 output gear. | 22 Sep 2003 20:59 GMT | 12 |
Yuss. I finally after three years of horrendous flying and crashing broke a tooth on a new HS55 output gear. Lord knows how, the impact I assume was responsible was very slight..but maybe it went backwards into a tree or something.

| 2 x batteries for electric plane? | 22 Sep 2003 02:56 GMT | 6 |
I am about to get my first electric plane - probably a slow stick type plane. However, I can't figger out how to arrange the batteries - eg if the plane uses (say) 7 cells to run the motor then that gives 8.4 volts - but that seems too high for the receiver and servos. Or is it? ...

I was just looking at some du-bro 2-56 rod ends and I would really like to find something smaller like a #1 or #0 screw, I could get by with a 2-56 if the ball and the plastic housing around the ball were smaller. More like the proportions that metal rod ends are. Does anyone know

| Mismatching Batteries. | 21 Sep 2003 21:55 GMT | 15 |
I have a 6cell 500mah Nicad pack. I'd like to make it a 7 cell pack, however I can't seem to find any 500mah cells in that size. All I can find are 600mah cells. What would happen if I added the 600mah cell to the pack? Would it damage the pack, or just only be under utilized?
