I was in the local dealers today after a long break from the hobby, and he was trying to sell me a 'brand new, just out' radio set - the futaba T6EXA. It looks v. impressive for the price - but what I can't get my head round is why it uses Ni-cad's instead of NiMH ....

I'd quite like to build a joystick panel for use with FMS. Is there a cheap source of bare joysticks anywhere in the UK that anyone knows of? TIA Jim

I pretty much understand how and why props have different pitches. But how does a larger diameter prop affect your flight since your only changing by say 1/2" on a side?

I am putting a fiberglass resin on the floats for my Dehavilland Beaver to waterproof them and also about to lay a woven mat on the bottom of the floats for scuffs on the beach etc... I have already brushed on the resin and WOW!....sealed up everything and am very happy with ...

OK please answer a newbie. I'm building a World Models Piper Cub J3. It is powered with an OS 40 with a Bisson Pitts Muffler. My question is with the cowl on I won't be able to get to the fuel lines to fuel it up.

I tried to start my OS 91 yesterday with my electric starter. It wouldn't turn over the prop. I had just charged the battery the night before so figured I needed a new starter battery. Bought one on the way home from the flying field. Charged it over night and got the same results ...

I have an Irvine trainer and someone has given me a 4 engine 78 wingspan b17 I am using a sanwa vg600 6 channel for the trainer will I have to change all the servos on the b17 as they are multi plex and also the receiver ?
