I am recovering my first plane.  I bought it used and after learning to fly it

Hey everyone,
A couple weeks ago I was posting about my awesome first flight with my Kadet
LT-40.  Now I'm posting about it's demise.

Went to Bruntingthorpe Airfileld today to see the old jets doing their
runs up and down the runway, and inbetween runs, there were 2 blokes
with jet propelled models.(well they sounded pretty much like jets, and
the exhaust smelled like a jet).

I bought an O.S. 91 S II for the S.E.5a I'm building, coming along
great...My question, in the engine owner's manual it notes to Be sure to
use a muffler-pressurized fuel feed system but doesn't elaborate on it.

Don't you just love pottering about in your shed, gluing, fibreglassing,
planing, sanding, covering.... while the rain steadily patters on the

Anyone put ailerons on this thing.  I was thinking of decreasing the
dihedral and putting ailerons on mine.  Any comments/suggestions?
