Poor engine performance09 Nov 2003 22:16 GMT15
I have an old plane that originally had a K&B sportster .20 on it.  That
engine worked great but I wanted more power.  I had set the plane up with
the crazy K&B engine mount that bolts on the back of the motor, so the
sportster .28 seemed like a perfect and very easy solution.  I've ...
A cracking "little" ridge09 Nov 2003 17:18 GMT10
Returned to the slope I never got to fly last weekend but far too windy
on the top so followed the ridge along untill I came to a sort of saddle
at the head of a flat sided valley.
This ridge at about a 100ft high looked pretty small compared to the
Mega Motor from Aircraft World09 Nov 2003 16:45 GMT4
A week or so ago, I posted asking for advice on where to obtain a Mega Motor
22/20/3 in the UK. Among the suggestions was www.aircraft-world.com . I was
a bit wary about ordering from Japan for various reasons, but the prices
were good and the range of products meant that I could ...
Need help with Receiver09 Nov 2003 14:50 GMT6
I seem to be getting erratic behaviour from my
Futaba 7-channel receiver (freq.  72.910 or channel  56).
When a servo is connected to channel 2 of the receiver,
it overshoots neutral and is sluggish.  The same servo
Which Spitfire Kit?09 Nov 2003 13:46 GMT1
Hi folks..
I need some help deciding on which Spitfire kit to build this winter.
I'm looking for a 60 size model, probably powered by a .90 four-stroke or
similar. I think I'd prefer something with foam & veneer wings, but not
New pilot09 Nov 2003 13:22 GMT5
I'm a new RC Gas pilot and would like a recommendation on which trainer
to get?  .40, .46, .61?  Large, medium, small?  I'm on a budget and
just purchased the Futaba 6EXA system.  And, yes, don't freak out, I
will take lessons.

One week to Deadline.09 Nov 2003 01:51 GMT4
Only ONE more week to procrastinate. AMA election ballot deadline is 11/14
postmark.
If you have your new '04 AMA Card (Safety Code Card enclosed) or the Dec. MA,
(Pg. 163) take a look at all those new rules against your flying fun.
club membership application09 Nov 2003 01:47 GMT11
We started requiring a membership application be filled out before you get a
club card this year.   Many hours of trying to track down club members that we
didn't have a phone number for, AMA number, current address, or whatever has
made this nessasary.  Do any of the clubs you guys ...

bad, considering the owner of my lhs is driving around in ...
