First Electric06 Nov 2003 13:51 GMT19

The nearest field to my house is a 45 minute drive.  My yard is fairly
large (about 5 acres) so I was thinking about an electric of some type.
What would be a decent choice for an electric that is small enough to
How much time left?06 Nov 2003 13:51 GMT7
I'm not new to flying, it's just that I fly electric mostly.  I now have a

of fuel flying an OS 40fx.  I know I can just time it, but ...

Some Questions That I have.
2 3/4" Wheels needed06 Nov 2003 01:56 GMT2
Does anyone know of a source for reasonably priced 2 3/4" wheels that
are narrow and will hold up to about 14 pounds of airplane.  I'm
starting to gather the stuff for a new project and the nose strut has
dual wheels, one on either side of the strut.  2.75" would be about
Chopper accident05 Nov 2003 21:55 GMT2
I went back and read most of the posts on this tragedy (and the
news article that reported it locally). I did not see, and I certainly
could have missed it, anywhere were it clarified how the original
call to 911 was placed. If the call was made from a cell phone the

Crashed My Magic 3D05 Nov 2003 17:02 GMT6
Maybe this'll help somebody to not get casual like I did.
I spectacularly wrecked (repairable) my Magic 3D Sunday because I
failed to percieve that the flap switch was in the "landing" position
(which in this case was preset to up flaps, down elevator) prior to

are hundreds of posts for me to search through deja (google groups)
with the same request.
But I want something different. I'm not looking for a wireless camera.
