| Crash and burn.... | 25 Nov 2003 03:25 GMT | 12 |
My lesson learned for others not to follow: I changed out my tires from the crappy foam type you get in the box to some rubber 3 1/4" tires. The plane was never very nose heavy. The wheels were enough to shift the cg aft and make the plane unflyable. Unfortunately I didn't realize ...

| Help Needed with JR X-378 | 24 Nov 2003 18:28 GMT | 1 |
I recently got a superb deal on eBay for an X-378 - of course, it came without a manual. . . I am upgrading from an X-652 and, on the 4 channel planes, things have gone smoothly. On my 6 channel Spitfire, things are a little more problematic.

Please refer to the Jan. '04 issue of AMA's "Model Aviation", page 108. Is AMA sending a clue on how to circumnavigate the new Safety Code rule ".... nor should any part of the model other than the landing gear intentionally touch the ground, except while landing."?? (;-))<

I've been following the Right Thrust thread for a while, and I wonder why my Tower Kaos (the kit, not the ARF), has a significant amount of both right and down thrust. I've noticed the plane tracks beautifully in inside loops, but outside loops, unless corrected, turn into ...
