Irvine 53 16 Dec 2003 16:32 GMT13
Help Please--- What am I or Irvine doing wrong?
I have purchased 4 Irvine 53's at various times over the last 3 years.
These have been in different planes and not bought to replace ones that have
failed.

Futaba R-138DF receiver16 Dec 2003 15:22 GMT3
I use the Futaba R-138DF receivers in all my models. They are sold as
8 channel receivers but only have servo sockets  for channels 1 - 7.
How do you connect up the servo for channel 8?
Just curious, seems a bit odd to have an eight channel reciever with

What in the heck are all those round "holes", "ports", or whatever
they are, seen in the fuse side windows of a C-47? Anybody here know?

Old transmitters as buddy boxes15 Dec 2003 23:42 GMT3
A relative who works at a local auction house says there will be several old
RC transmitters up in the next few days that will probably go for next to
nothing.  I know the batteries are probably kaput and they may be pre-1991.
Could I still use them as buddy boxes to teach newbies?
UCD 3d servos15 Dec 2003 23:29 GMT1

Any Multiplex Royal Evo users?15 Dec 2003 23:21 GMT14
I'm considering buying a Royal Evo 9 transmitter for IC powered flight and
wondered where I can get a good look and play with one.  I've read through
the manual and like the feature set on paper but like most things you can't
beat holding the thing before lashing out that kind of ...

Getting Back into the Hobby15 Dec 2003 17:19 GMT5
Well my wife really did it.  She bought me a park flyer (FireFlight from the
Sharper Image - similar to Hobbyzone's FireBird) and I'm having a blast.
Now I've been eyeing all the old R/C stuff that hasn't flown in 10+ years.
The first bird I'm likely to get back into the air is an ...

Seeking trainer plan suggestions15 Dec 2003 14:39 GMT3
Hi guys.  I'm in need of some plans for a 40 size trainer.  Something
similar to a Sig LT40.  I'm considering helping a newbee get into the
hobby, and want to scratch build.  Depending on how it goes, I might
consider setting up a building/flying program for our club.
