The easiest thing in the world to fly, I was doing the most gentle touch and
go's all day. It was converted to tail dragger. The ...

2nd Plane05 Dec 2003 18:27 GMT9
Would the Hobbico Avistar be a better second plane compared to a Sig
4*40 or Goldberg Tiger 2, especially if I am in no hurry to learn wild
aerobatics?
GWS Servos05 Dec 2003 16:18 GMT9
I see that the GWS servos are about as reasonable as can be, with their SO4
heavy duty servo costing only about $21 each.
Can any of you guys in the group report as to your experiences with the GWS
servos?

I have several Sanyo 600ma "AA" NiCads that are several years old and aren't

12V Solar Briefcase to charge park flyers?04 Dec 2003 11:41 GMT7
Has anyone tried to use one of these 12V solar briefcases to charge
park flyer batteries in the field?  Seems like it could be quite
useful.  Says it puts out 12V and typical 700mAh.  I would worry about
fluctuation with clouds.  What do you think?
