| Old Receiver as a Freq Monitor? | 25 Dec 2003 00:22 GMT | 4 |
Hi, I have an old Futaba wide band FM receiver that works. Can I use it to monitor my freq. (ch 56)? I'm thinking of hooking up an old flight pack battery and using a sevo output to a speaker so I can hear if anything is on my freq. Will it work? TIA, Dan.

| Sweet spot for LiPoly powered planes | 24 Dec 2003 22:01 GMT | 21 |
I checked in on the tail end of the other thread "LiPoly vs. Glow" with some negative comments about electric powered planes. Basically for me it was some sour grapes due to the high cost of my propoesd project. Not all LiPoly powered planes are created equal.

| Calif earthquake | 24 Dec 2003 05:18 GMT | 5 |
I was working at my computer when I felt strange pulsing in my body, kind of between my chair and back. I was unsure what was happening until I looked at my 10 R/C planes hanging in the living room. All of them were swinging back and forth, some as much as 6 inches. A long, gentle ...
