looking for small electric info13 Jan 2004 19:11 GMT2
I built a Pipsqueak from RCM plans and put a Cox Peewee .020 on it.
This plane has about a two foot wingspan.  With a micro receiver, two
Hitec 55 servos and a 400 mah nimh receiver battery, it weighs 6
ounces.  The Peewee .020 provides just the right amount of power, but

Astro Hog to Hog Bipe? 13 Jan 2004 14:50 GMT3
How difficult it would be to convert an old, already-built Astro Hog into
its bipe cousin?   I realize new wings would be needed as the bipe's wings
are both shorter and thinner, but what else would I be getting into?

Suggestions on old trainer?13 Jan 2004 11:33 GMT23
Hey all, Mike the newbie here.
I just scored an old (err, maybe 80's or 90's vintage) .40 sized trainer plane from a

planes. My friend gives it to me because he's too chicken to fly it. ...

Last time, the nose gear broke out part of the firewall on a bad landing.
We decided to convert the plane to tail dragger while it was down.  The
plane is a Global Right Flyer 60H.

Himax 2025-530012 Jan 2004 20:47 GMT2
Is anyone using this motor. More specifically is anyone in the UK using this
motor. I have just bought one to use with a Phoenix 25 esc. I will be
driving an 11x4.7 GWS slowfly prop though a GWS 6.6x1 gearbox. I am hoping
to get 40oz static thrust on a 12 oz auw foamy plane.

My case is:   Old timer with 9" cord and 45" span with a high lift foil
17" between wing TE and horiz stab LE
7" cord and 18" length on horiz stab (which has a
lifting foil same as wing)
