I wanted to post this as a Thank-ya for all your help. Im getting better with my slowstick - i still suck, but im crashing less every time i go up. So far im limited to a stock plane with a 8.4x900 nimh pack and a 8.4x600 nicad, but the lipos and brushless will be coming soon.

I am looking at control options for my 1/8 scale locomotive. I am interested in the possibility of controlling it by R/C. It isn't your typical locomotive, though, in that it is ten feet long and weighs nine hundred pounds <g>. In other words, it is a "ride on" locomotive.
