Am I legal to use the 10 meter band?20 Jan 2004 14:51 GMT35
I recently came into a  high-band RC transmitter, which I understand
requires an amateur license to use.  When I got my pilot license 30
years ago I also got a radio-telephone license in the bargain- 5 WPM
Morse code and all.  My question is, is that sufficient to use the RC

NiCads, NiMH, Lith Ion, Lith poly, the list goes on. Last year I
invested in NiMH and now they 're almost obsolete. I purchased my
first Li Po  battery a couple of weeks ago along with the necessary
charger.

I just had to send in my eclipse 7 to Hitec for the second time for
the same problem: the aileron controls cease to function. Both times
they had to replace the board. Is this a common failure with the
eclipse? Thank god that both failures occured on the GROUND and not in

O.K. What happened to the beautiful, large membership sticker the AMA
used to give us? This year all I got was a dull colored, postage stamp
size membership sticker. I always put the big one on the back window
of my truck's canopy. I often had people comment on it, ask if I flew

I've been away from the sport for some 20 years and my kids bought me an
ARTF kit for Xmas to get me into it again.
This kit recommends joining the two halves of a Styro Foam/Veneer wing
