Does anybody here have access to a recent Guinness Book of Records?
The edition in my (rather poor) local library is of 1989(!), and the
online version of the Guinness book only offers a reduced sample of
records (the one sought not being among them).

I've been given a Ripmax SE5a (horrible shiny covering, BTW) and want to put
a 52 4-stroke in it. The engine cannot be placed at the correct position on
the supplied mount (which has built-in downthrust) as it fouls the carb.
This is true whichever way round I put the carb. Can ...

whats the deal with saito 4 stoke engines,why r they so pircey
compared to the others,are they really worth the extra price, sure
they got flashy gold valve covers!!, but there specs are no diffrent

As the header     do these have servos/speed controllers  you can use on a
normal radio or is the motor and battery the only things you can reuse as
there is one on ebay I was considering pulling apart if its cheap enough

Have a damaged Pica Cessna 172 and just got the same plane in a kit. I'd like
to make a duplicate of the kit's 2piece cowl so I can finish repair on the
damaged plane. How would I do it? I guess make a mold of some sort and
fiberglass maybe?

I'm building a 48" combat foamie F-86 from MM Glider Tech
(http://www.mmglidertech.com/f86.html).  The default wing configuration
calls for attaching the swept-back wings to the bottom of the fuselage with
Shoe-Goo glue.  I'm considering a bolt-on modification for securing the

I see many radios up for auction. The channel is never mentioned, is
it possible  to use any crystal to change the transmiter channel to
the one you want?

Does anyone know where I can find (buy) a ESC that is rated for
between 25-30 cells and rated up to about 100 A or more?  I don't
think I will find one at a hobby store, and I haven't found one
online.  I may have to look into something commercial for that kind of

spend alot of money. i already have a charger for nicad and nimh batteries.
any ideas ?
